  1. If I can't complete the L-pullups, should I scale to strict pullups, or just wait until I can complete the L-pullups?

  2. Hi Dave,
    I would recommend you finish it the way you started even if it takes longer.. However you can modify it by changing your grip to the chin up grip. That will help, if not. You can reset your legs after every L pull up. Hope that makes sense. Good luck!
